FAQ
Many dentists now practise a number of relaxation techniques. We offer patients an oral or intravenous sedation, both treatments leave you feeling relaxed, although you are still awake, you are unconcerned by your surroundings and recovery time is quick.
For a more holistic approach, Concordia Dental highly recommends psychotherapy/hypnotherapy treatment with Dr Sharie Coombes and herbal medicine with Marion Mackonochie to help with any dental anxieties you may have.

We provide the gentlest of dental treatments and also offer Sedation if you require.
Our sedation services are available to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during your treatment with us.
When you are sedated you will be conscious, but unaware of what is going on around you. Our dentist will be able to help you decide which type of sedation is right for you.

If you are anxious or nervous when visiting the dentist then sedation can be very helpful to keep you relaxed and calm during your appointment. When receiving sedation, you will be fully informed beforehand of any potential side effects and given advice to help with your recovery.
When having treatment under sedation you will require a chaperone to attend with you and collect you following your appointment.
